![]() Having tapes and coins to collect was also nice and added more replayablity to the game. The ending to it was really good though, and actually some decent horror. You just go round in circles until you find the right area. The final mission was annoying and repetitive. ![]() They did a good job with some nightmare modes though, Vent Repair was really good. Nightmare mode plushtrap was the same but you are smaller, balloon boy you were just smaller and there were balloons and parts and service just had different environments and colours etc. Some of the nightmare mode versions were quite lazy. Fun Time Foxy (both modes) is probably my favourite mission becuase it is quite scary to be in a dark room and know that something is out there trying to kill you, but you only get to see it in brief flashes of light. Night Terrors is really fun, though it is quite easy once you find the strategy. Parts and service is fun, although it isn't very scary. As someone who played the original 4 games, they really improved on FNAF 2, and made incredible ports to the other 2 normal games. Some of the other levels are just lazy and boring, like Circus baby or Ballon Boy dark rooms, which is just the plush trap one but a different character.Ī lot of the missions are really fun though. It's a teddy bear, that shakes and does a little high pitched scream. There is a tension build up if you can't find them in time which can be scary the first time, but the jumpscare is so laughably bad that you can't end up being scared. Multiple can spawn at once so unless you find them all straight away your flashlight will most likely run out and you will die. It is really unfair, not only are some of the hiding spots literally just the teddy sticking its eye around the corner, but the teddy's don't stop shaking when you put the torch on them, so you have to have found them within a second or two, and even then, your flashlight could still run out. Most levels have a strategy that can fail you almost no times, other levels are just not that hard becuase everything has really simple solutions like FNAF 2.Īnother problem, this is more of a minor problem, but PLUSHBABY ON NIGHTMARE MODE, IS ONE OF THE WORST VR EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD. ![]() I died maybe 2 times on FNAF 3 and on FNAF 2 I didn't die once, there was one, one fucking level which was really hard, but I'll get to that later. I did think Vent Repair was scary though.Īnother problem, and maybe this is just me, but the game was really easy. They're absolutely massive in the jumpscare which makes it less scary for some reason. Also the jumpscares actually look ridiculous. Jumpscares in these games aren't very good anyway becuase of a lack of tension, but especially in this game there is a huge lack of tension except for Vent Repair and Parts and Service. It can be scary the first time you get a certain jump, eg: popping your head out of the left hallway on FNAF 1, but after the first time it never really gets you again. This is mostly becuase you can see the jumpscare coming from a mile away. There were a few times that I actually jumped in missions like Nightmare Fredbear, Vent Repair but apart from that I never really got scared. One problem I have is that I found the game to be not scary at all. I'm gonna judge it mostly off being a game and focus less on the fact that it's a port, but I'll still bring it up. I have finished the game already, becuase I have nothing better to do.
